Testimonials:

"The Dad’s beginner classes have been the ideal way to get an initial taste for jiu-jitsu. Getting together a couple of times a week with other blokes of a similar age, fitness level and injury status has provided a great space for learning the basics while developing an appreciation of the training many of our own kids have been doing at Margaret River Martial Arts.

Being able to have a laugh, ask any and every question, and going at a pace suited to us older blokes has made it an experience I would recommend to others interested in this sport. Looking forward to the next round of classes!"

Paul

"The men's BJJ course has been so valuable and I am looking forward to the second course already! Techniques are easier to grasp in these classes as we slow everything down and talk them through with each other while rolling. There is less risk of injury and I especially enjoy the flow rolls where we put everything into play, taking turns to attack and defend. The smaller group size means we all get to know each other, we don't hesitate to ask questions and get to talk through the pro's and con's of each technique."

Thanks,

Rich

"These classes have been a great way for me to slow everything down and really get to the core fundamentals of jiu jitsu that I was missing. I now feel like after training with Sean in my rolls I am much more comfortable in bad positions in my rolls and my submission attempts have been more successful. Sean has a great way of explaining techniques and it’s approachable for all fitness levels and skill levels"

William

"For me the pace and the steps of learning and putting it all into a flow for us has been a winner.

With working away and being able to rewatch the sessions I missed, and also revise before the next session has been really helpful.

Learning and rolling at our pace (middle aged men) has been awesome, having a laugh and yarn about life in general and wrestling .

Thanks for your patience and teachings! It’s been awesome and looking forward to next round.🤙🏻"

Luke

"I’ve watched my kids train with Sean for a long time. The desire to jump in and have a go has been restricted by injury or potentially further injuring myself. This course has enabled me to learn the fundamentals without that risk. Now after every session I walk away wanting more. It’s addictive.

They say you can’t teach old dogs new tricks. Well Sean’s method proves that wrong."
