Guidance on Leadership Development

Being a good instructor doesn't mean having one good method for teaching that gives you 100% of your result.

It means having 100 ways that improve your class 1% each time. Here are 10 to get you started.

Level 4 Junior instructors qualify to take warm ups in classes.

Level 4 Senior instructors must be over the age of 18 to be invited to teach a full class, if we have a position available.

Sean Allen gives an overview of the content for the Martial Arts Instructor Training Program with special focus on the role of a class instructor (you must be over the age of 18 to participate)

Taken from his popular 8 week course, Sean discusses concepts that enable an instructor to get the message across to an audience clearly. He compares the role of an assistant and an instructor and how each differs.
Techniques covered are Mirroring and Matching, Lighthouse supervision, D.E.C.R. plus Auditory, Visual and Kinesthetic learning .

From this level you could be invited to be a part of our Instructors Team, if we have a position available.

Nothing is more important than the rapport an instructor has with his students. It is the ingredient that makes students achieve that which they previously thought impossible.

In this video, Sean explains how to start creating that rapport in the warm up.
